Queen’s Journey has had a pretty good launch, and so far it looks like the majority of those who’ve read it like the book! That makes me happy, as I always get nervous about releases. For those of you who’ve read it, if you’d consider leaving a review or rating, I’d deeply appreciate it. Reviews are the lifeblood of an indie author, so I deeply appreciate it when reviews are left.
This week I also finished editing Chosen of Chaos and sent it off to the editor. This should easily allow me to release it in early March, which I’m really looking forward to! I’m hoping other people enjoy it as well, as it’s a bit different of a story for me.
Now, as for this coming week… I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do. I’ve been pushing rather hard lately, and beyond that I’ve been wrestling with what to work on next. I think the best idea is to work on Lilith’s Shadow and Soul Bound to finish up the story arcs, but I’m not sure if my muse is with me. I’m going to figure that out this week, as I think two books back to back in two months is pretty good.
Anyway, that’s what I have to say this week… though my Patrons also funded some art, so here’s a painting of Cora and Joy from Beesong Chronicles, by V-Grecu!

Might want to take a moment to rest, relax, and recharge. Generally doesn’t hurt to take a step back and take a breath before you plunge in again.
I did enjoy Queen’s Journey, although tying up some of the romantic loose ends will be fascinating to read about. I’ll probably re-read it again in a few days (I’m on a Glynn Stewart/Pam Uphoff/multiple Japanese light novel series kick at the moment), my first reading was probably done too rapidly to take in the finer details properly and give decent feedback. I’m also looking forward to Chosen of Chaos, as you’ve not delved into space before (other than brief moments in Lilith’s travails). Hope this finds you and yours safe and comfortable!

I’ve taken most of the week off (only a little writing), and I’ve been working out why I’m in this state. I think it comes down to a lot of little things I need to resolve so I can clear my head properly.
Regarding the romantic loose ends… I’m not sure how that’s going to work out. At all. I’m looking forward to finding out, though!
Now, as for Chosen of Chaos, I’ll say not to be expecting any hard sci-fi! Most of the time I view space as a place for travel to happen (though there are exceptions), but science fantasy has been a long love of mine. It’s what got me into writing to begin with, for that matter!
I hope you’re safe, I’m certainly doing well on that front.
