I did not manage my goal for Queen’s Move this last week, in part due to a phone call in the middle of the night on Tuesday wrecking my sleep schedule, but I did get up to a bit over 86,500 words, and am hoping to make up the difference today. We shall see if that happens!
That said, I won’t be working on Queen’s Move this week unless things go particularly well, because I’m going to be starting on my second edit of Webs & Wards to prepare it for its January 13th release date. Speaking of which, you can find the Webs & Wards pre-order below!

With Webs & Wards coming out, I also ordered a new cover for Sting & Song from DominaArt, the artist who did Webs & Wards. I had someone ask me why I did that, so I think it’s worth explaining here as well. I like the cover art of Sting & Song, and think that Loputon did lovely work with it. The issue was mostly timing, as I couldn’t guarantee that I could commission Loputon for subsequent covers. I far prefer to have the same artist do an entire series, or at least the entire series arc, so I commissioned a new cover for Sting & Song. And, I’ll admit, I think she knocked it out of the park. You can see the new cover below. I haven’t updated it on Amazon just yet, but I will be in the near future.
This looks interesting.
