Now for news that isn’t quite as good. This past week was not good for writing, so Hell’s Ascendant is only at a bit over 60,000 words. I’m not going to go into details, but it was a combination of writer’s block and medical worries, though the latter wasn’t regarding me.
I am happy to be working on it, I should add, but I suspect that I’m just nervous about trying to tie up the trilogy. I’ll be honest, I also keep forgetting Mortal Gods isn’t published yet, which makes me a bit chagrined.
Still, this month is going to be a bit crazy for me! I need to try to finish Hell’s Ascendant, my anniversary is this month, and I have a bunch of family coming to town as well. It’s going to be insane, but I’m looking forward to things settling down after that… assuming they do, of course.
Anyway, that’s it for the moment! Now to get back to writing.
