First off, for all of you who read and left reviews on Queen of Ice, thank you very much! Reviews help me immensely, so every one of them helps. I hope those of you who’re working on the book enjoy it, much as I hope anyone who reads my books enjoy them.
As for The Obsidian Palace, it’s up to just over 75,000 words. I’ll be honest, it’s been tough hitting my goal this month, but I’m hopeful that I can keep it up. That said, if I manage to hit my goal even just today and tomorrow, that’s as much as I’d normally be planning on in all of November, so it’s coming along well! There’ve been a few interesting twists to the story as well, which I’m looking forward to seeing how people react to.
This week will be eventful, because the audiobook of The Avatar’s Flames comes out on the 20th, and Thursday is Thanksgiving in the United States, which means I’ll be visiting family. I’ll also be making a chocolate cake and raspberry cheesecake to share with them, so that’ll be fun.
It’s been an interesting month, since I’ve been coming up with tons of ideas for stories, and also have had characters surprise me a lot. It’s always funny when I find a character I thought was going to be unlikable is more interesting than I thought they’d be. Anyway, that’s it for the moment! Have a great week, everyone!
