I’ve launched a Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/BMedrano! Some of you may remember that a while back I was considering doing a Patreon, but I really didn’t know what I could give, and also that I was quite uncertain about it. Recently that’s changed, and so have my circumstances.

An author’s income is unpredictable, and it makes it an insecure career on the whole. I freely admit the ability to relax a little about income is part of why I’m doing a Patreon, but only part of the reason. Another part is that I’d love to get artwork of other characters and share it, or even better maps of my worlds. Regardless, I wouldn’t have been able to come this far without readers.

I’m not going to go into a huge amount of detail about how things work, as most of them are on the Patreon page, but I am going to mention one thing. I’ve mentioned Heaven’s Fallen, a story which I started on, but ran into writer’s block with. It’s going to be the first subject for chapters which I share on the Patreon, and I think doing so will help me start writing more for it, which is good, since I think the story is about halfway done.

Thank you all for the support you’ve shown me before this. Whether or not I get funding from Patreon, I’ll continue writing and publishing, so long as I can afford to do so.
