I have confirmation from one reader that Down with the Queen is live in Australia. As far as I know, it goes live about midnight for each region it’s available in, so the book will be rolling out worldwide over the next 24 hours.
I’ve approved the paperback copy of the book, so those of you who would like to order it should be able to do so today. I must say that Down with the Queen was interesting to write, in large part because a superhero setting is so different compared to many other types of stories I consider. It’s also far more open-ended, so it’s easily expanded.
A small part of me hopes to one day turn the world of Stars & Shadows into a Kindle World, where many authors can write in it, but I doubt that’s ever going to happen. Still, it was something that I kept in mind when I built the world. I suspect the biggest obstacle is that I have trouble with the idea of sharing characters with others… but we’ll see what comes of it.
I hope that those of you who read the book enjoy it, and thank you for accompanying me on my journey so far.
Just wanted to note a mistake, at location 1149 “nicebut” should be “nice, but”

Yup, that and a missing word have been noted. I’m gathering any errors people point out over the weekend and trying to fix them. I swear… it’s inevitable that some creep through the cracks.

Hehe… glad to hear you enjoyed it! Alas, writing a book takes a while. I’ll get to the next one when I’m up to it. ^_^
