Yes, it’s April 1st. However, I’ve never been fond of April Fool’s Day, so let’s just go with the usual update, shall we?

So, Down with the Queen came out on Friday, and overall the response has been quite good. A few errors did creep into the final version, and I’m going to update the files with corrections, but unless you purchase after that goes live, or manually update the file, you won’t see them. I’ve heard other authors say that the file will automatically update if 10% of the file is changed, but I have no idea. I know it doesn’t for minor changes.

That being said, the book has been doing well, and I’m definitely going to come back to Lilith’s Shadow, it’s just going to take some time to get to it. I’ve said that I was going to do Through the Fire and Sisters of Radiance for some time, and I’m determined to do so. I think I’m not going to plan out my series quite so far in advance in the future, but we’ll see.

Broken Chains, the short story I’ve been working on more, has officially graduated to novella status, and the ideas expanded enough to be a novel. Since I don’t have time to do it fully and the ideas are still percolating, I’m setting it aside to work on the Ancient Dreams omnibus. I’ve written down the outline of what I want to happen, mind you, it just has to wait, along with so many other projects.

I’m not sure how long editing the Ancient Dreams omnibus will take. Probably most of April, possibly into May… and possibly less. I’m not going to be able to say until I’m done.
