November 27th 2022 Update

With Thanksgiving slowing me down a bit, I have Dawn of Chaos up to about 25,000 words! Depending on the final length, that could be anywhere from one-quarter to one-sixth complete, or even less. I’m hoping it doesn’t turn into a 150,000+ word book since that would wreck my tentative schedule rather thoroughly. We shall see!

Speaking of Eve of Destruction, I have a tentative release date of January 24th for the audiobook of Mistress of Chaos, and a March or April release for the audio of Talyn: Descent. No guarantees until they’re up for pre-order, of course, but I’ve got things moving.

Talyn: Descent has been doing decently in its first week. Not great, Eve of Destruction far outperformed it, but pretty good. I’ve also generally gotten feedback indicating that people have enjoyed it, which is encouraging! Hopefully things keep rolling for me. I’ve got lots of stories to tell, and only so much energy to write. Hope you’re all doing well!

  1. First time I’m commenting. I’ve basically binge read almost all of your books in the last 6 months starting when I found Talyn: Rebirth. I absolutely loved Talyn: Descent. Have to say my favorites are #1 Through the Fire series, #2 Talyn series, and #3 Eve series.

  2. I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed the books! It’s ironic how many people are really vocal about liking Through the Fire, when by the numbers it’s one of my biggest failures. I like the series, but it hasn’t done all that great, sadly. Eve has done great, though.

In any case, I’m trucking along on Eve 4, and hopefully it satisfies!

  3. I’ve read it twice now and am likely to reread again in the near future. I admit to personal bias cause of Korima and my love of Kitsune. I eagerly await the second arc of it someday, but understand that other series come first, satisfying muses and putting food on the table come first.

  4. You aren’t the only one, that’s for sure! Korima has a lot of people who love her, including my best friend (who’s responsible for her being in the books, if I’m being honest).
