Queen’s Gambit is out, and it looks like people have enjoyed it! That’s a heck of a relief for me, simply because I was worried I might flub the ending. I’m glad I didn’t! As for the audiobook, it’ll be recorded in September, so it’ll be a few months yet.
With Queen’s Gambit out of the way, and having finished my side project Broken Chains (that might be better as a series title… I don’t know yet), I’ve returned to work on Adept of Chaos, book 2 of Eve of Destruction. I already had Part 1 of the book complete, and am ~40,000 words into the story, so as long as my muse doesn’t abandon me, I hope to finish it in July, maybe August. If that’s the case, I might manage an August or September release date on it. However, I also want to announce new cover art for Chosen of Chaos, illustrated by Mario Wibisono! I’m finally happy with this version of Evelyn! I hope you like it!

I have to say that IMO this cover art is much more fitting than the original because of the close up. Sidenote: I am a sucker for the red over black color scheme though I end up wearing more dark blues and greens over black.
Also I bet you’re busy, but have you put more thought into having stickers of your series with “just” their names (meaning no pictures as good as they are)

The original cover came about because… well, I had one person who was months past-due (and it turned out sub-par in the end), and another that looked more like a sexy pin-up model (which I have a use for, as that sort of art could happen in-world). So I commissioned an emergency cover, and got the one I used. I always intended for it to be an interim cover, though.
I have, it’s just been a /very/ back-burner thing for me. I’ve also been intending to make more of Shadowmind’s coffee mugs, but haven’t gotten around to it. I’ll try to get around to it this month.

Glad to hear it! I was very close to giving up, since it seemed like Evelyn was cursed.
