I’m in the final stages of editing Dusk Gate at this point, then I’m going to be sending it to my editor. I’m really hoping to have it out before the end of the month, but at present, the pre-order is set for November 2nd. The link to the Amazon pre-order is below!

Dusk Gate Pre-Order

Dusk Gate somewhat fascinates me due to the nature of Xandra, who is if not the main character, she’s one of the main characters. She’s sarcastic, short-tempered, and generally doesn’t filter her responses by what’s polite. As one of my friends put it, “She’s like an overworked retail employee that just doesn’t care anymore.” I think it’s a pretty accurate description of her, but I don’t intend to leave her like that.

That said, I think that this series is going to be a little different than most of my books. Darker in some ways, but with plenty of light here and there. I’m not entirely sure how it’ll end up, but it’s certainly going to be different. What intrigues me the most is that it’s possible that she and the characters in the book could cross paths with Ruethwyn and the other characters of Through the Fire.

We’ll have to see where things end up, though. For now, I’m going to be working on Queen’s Journey once I’ve finished with Dusk Gate.

Edit: So everyone is aware, Amazon seems to be having some problems on the back end at the moment. The pre-order took over a week to go up (usually it takes a couple of hours), and it doesn’t have a page on all of their stores (.de, .au, and others. It’d be faster to share which ones it is on). I contacted them on Sunday, and they’re looking into the problem, but I can’t guarantee when it’ll be available. Just wanted to let you know.
