Queen of Diamonds is up to about 42,500 words, and coming along nicely. I am a touch concerned that the story is going to be shorter than I anticipated, but we’ll see when I get there. This week might be slightly abbreviated, writing-wise, but hopefully it won’t be too bad in the end. I really hope I don’t have another power outage… they’re getting rather old.

In other news, Queen’s Move has done pretty well on its opening week, and I’m happy that so many of you were looking forward to it! I thought it turns out pretty well, and it’s advancing toward some of the plots I had planned, as well as some which I didn’t necessarily intend to weave into the story. However, I do have an art piece to share today as well! My Patrons funded and voted for a painting of Blooming Orchid back in December, and Alinery did a stunning rendition of her, which I’m sharing below! This is the low resolution version, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
