I’ve completed the final big conflict of Tempered in Battle and am in the final stretch of the story! The manuscript is currently at about 238,000 words, and I expect to be just a bit over 240,000 when I finish, though a lot depends on how long the wrap-up takes. We’ll see.

This is well-timed, in part because I’m going on a week-an-a-half trip at the end of the week. It was originally shorter, but events necessitated shifting things around. That being the case, I intend to have an update written in advance for next Sunday, but I won’t be doing one the following week.
