Tempered in Battle is currently at 150,000 words, so it’s coming along pretty well. Lots of character development occurred, and things are to the point where most of the major events I needed to get done in the book before I can focus on the wrap-up have occurred. It’s still got a lot to go, though! I wouldn’t be surprised if I hit 200,000 words, but we’ll see when I get there.
But that’s all that’s happened this week. A lot of things on my end are just in a holding pattern until I get the book complete, then I can start scheduling things for release.

unsure if it’s intentional or an accident but the preorder shows up on audible website at $23 something but is $33 something on amazon for audible option

I have an audible subscription but I have it on pause so I don’t get any credits so that shouldn’t be the cause

Yeah, I don’t even have an Audible account, so they’re hiding the price from me. Only has the trial cost shown. I let Podium know, though.

so apparently even if the audible account is paused it still gets a 30% discount on audible website but Amazon website doesn’t give that discount. The math works out correctly so I guess that’s the reason.
