Alright, while I can’t say that I got a full week of writing in, I’m getting back into it, so Tempered in Battle is up to approximately 97,500 words. I suspect I’d also hit a scene that gave me some rather severe writer’s block, so that was compounding with the headaches I’d had to make things particularly bad. After I got past that scene, things smoothed out further, so here’s to hoping it continues!

I also realized I don’t think I’ve shared the artwork I got from Mario Wibisono for when I publish Forged in Conflict, book 2 of Embers of War. I’ll admit, I’ve been wavering a bit on whether to actually finish writing Tempered in Battle before publishing book 1, Crucible of War, but at least for now I’m intending to stick to my plan. Anyway, with the art of all three books almost done (I got the final preview of Tempered in Battle last night, and I think it’s AWESOME), I should actually keep sharing.
