When it rains, it pours. Last Sunday one of my wife’s aunts died, which has made things… unpleasant. That’s all I really can say. It’s been a heck of a year, and we’re not even two months into it.
For the good news, Dawn of Chaos is up to ~125,000 words, and assuming things go the way I expect them to, I should finish the rough draft this coming week. Possibly Monday or Tuesday, but given the year so far, I’m not putting much faith in that. It’s been rough. I have commissioned art for the new cover, and intend to set up a pre-order once I have the first editing pass complete.
Also, Podium informed me that the audiobook of Talyn: Descent should be out on March 21st. They’ve submitted the files to put up the pre-order, and are waiting on Audible to process them.
That’s all for this week, I hope everyone has a good week.
I’m really sorry for all that you’re going through!!! You’re in my thoughts and prayers! And don’t worry about Dawn, if you need to put it aside for a bit to be there for your wife, that’s fine, we understand!
Take care, and don’t focus so much on your hardships that you forget to count your blessings! 😜
