It’s already pretty much the end of the month. Time flies sometimes. Anyway! Phoenix Ascendant didn’t go quite as well as I’d hoped, but it’s up to about 60,000 words. I think I’m just about past the most difficult parts of the book to write, so it should speed up a little, but I can’t be certain. We’ll see how it goes, but I’m hopeful to finish the rough draft by the end of February.

On a slightly different subject, I also got art back from Mansik Yang for the cover of Mistress of Chaos this past week! I really like how it turned out, and am looking forward to writing the book. The first couple of sections should be interesting, at least in my opinion.
