First off, to those who’re in the United States, Happy Independence Day! I hope that we avoid any alien invasions!
Adept of Chaos is up to ~62,500 words, and I think it’s a bit over halfway done, but I can’t be sure until I get to the end. I’m expecting that I won’t get a full week’s worth of writing this coming week due to traveling, but we’ll see how it works out. With any luck, I’ll get the rough draft done by mid-August, but I can’t make any promises right now.
I’ve also got some art coming in the next month that I’m really looking forward to sharing, so hopefully it’ll come sooner rather than later. In any case, I hope everyone is doing well! Hopefully I’ll have more news next Sunday!

But alien invasions are fun! I mean, when is there a more appropriate time for fireworks than during an alien invasion! And *everybody* gets to fire a gun! Fun for the whole family! (Sorry, I’ve been heavily influenced by Heinlein, Ringo, et al.)

Heh, fair enough! Nothing wrong with enjoying alien invasion stories, in my opinion.
We’re doing our best to be safe, though! Planning to be home tomorrow, then I can get to work on Adept of Chaos again.
