Alright, Dusk Gate is up to a bit over 80,000 words, which means I got a lot more done this past week than I had in previous weeks! That makes me happy, as does the fact I got my new desk and got it assembled. It’s too soon to know for sure if it’ll make a difference, but I’m hopeful!

In slightly different news, I’m happy to say that I had another art poll for my Patrons, and they’ve chosen to have Spark and Irethiel illustrated. Those will be finished in the near future if everything goes well, and after a brief exclusive period for Patrons I’ll share them publicly. I’m looking forward to it!

The one thing that I’m concerned about is getting Dusk Gate out once I’ve finished my editing passes on it. The editor I usually use has had their schedule fill up until January, so I’m trying out another editor with a sample piece right now. If that works out, I may be worrying for nothing, but it’s something I need to consider carefully, since I want to use the same editor throughout a given series.
