This past week has been a bit hectic, between the release of Mortal Gods, recovering from the convention, and getting together the last pieces of feedback on Hell’s Ascendant. Speaking of Hell’s Ascendant, I’m currently working on the final edit before sending it to my editor, and I’m about halfway through the manuscript. I’m quite confident I’ll manage to finish the edit before my deadline, which will give plenty of time to get it ready for its eventual release.
On the subject of Mortal Gods, to all of you who’ve purchased it, thank you so very much. It’s your support that allows me to keep publishing as much as I do. If it weren’t for you, I’d have to publish much less, if at all.
Now, as I’ve mentioned several times, once I finish the final draft of Hell’s Ascendant I’m going to be taking a couple of weeks off. There are some family issues that make this even more important than before, but the primary reason is that I’ve been running myself a bit ragged over the past while, and I need to take a little time to relax and unwind. I might read a few books, play some games, and most likely get back into writing earlier than intended. I know myself, I’ll probably go stir-crazy within a week.
I also know I’ve mentioned that I’m working on a project called Sting & Song, a GameLit story of sorts that I’ve been sharing bit by bit on my Patreon. The chapters I’m sharing there are purely my first draft, and I’m doing so on a monthly basis, since I’m writing it much more slowly than my main projects. I do not have a release date for the book, but I do have cover art, which I’m sharing below. I’d like to introduce Joy the apis, the perky bee-girl.
No, the series title isn’t final, but knowing me I’ll just leave it be. Or is that leaving it bee? Either way, I love the art, and wanted to share it! I hope everyone enjoyed Mortal Gods!
Edit: I managed to forget to give a link to the artist, Loputon, so here it is!
