This was a difficult week, so Talyn: Repose is only at about 126,500 words. I’m a bit frustrated, but I think I’ve been trying to do too many things at once. I’m almost done editing Halls of Power for the new audiobook version, so I think what I’m going to do is get that off my plate tomorrow, since I should be able to finish the editing pass in a single day, given how much I have left. That’ll get a project off my plate, and should be an enormous relief. We’ll see how it goes.
As for the new versions of Ancient Dreams, I’m planning to see whether I can just update old versions with the new ones sometime this month, likely after I’ve finished the rough draft of Talyn: Repose. There are some rules about it, and I don’t think I changed too much to simply update the files, but Amazon can be weird about these things. We’ll see. I will say the word ‘that’ was way, way overused in the trilogy. It’s painful to read some sentences aloud… but I’m almost done. About 34 pages (out of 671 in Word for the trilogy) left.
…Though now I realize I also need to do a new foreword/afterword for Halls of Power. That shouldn’t take long, though.
Anyway, that’s where I’m at! Hope everyone is doing well!
any news on wether seed of chaos audiobook is in the works atm?

Nothing new, alas. I’ve sent them the manuscript and pronuciations, so everything is in Podium’s hands.
