This past week I finished the rough draft of Chosen of Chaos. It’s about 113,000 words, but I may modify it more based on some initial feedback. I’m not sure when it’ll be released yet, in part because I’m waiting on cover art. On the whole I’m happy with it, even if it doesn’t really have a traditional antagonist, my wife says that so far it seems to be about the journey, not the destination.

Beyond that, there isn’t a huge amount to discuss on the publishing front. Queen’s Journey is at the editor, and should be done later this month in time for its February 1st release date. I’m waiting on a couple of art pieces, one for my Patreon. I’ve been forcing myself to take an actual vacation from writing, though it’s only been two days and I’m getting antsy. I’ll probably do some writing this week regardless, but I’m going to take at least a few days off. Rest is important, after all!

But all that said, I think this year is going to be a good one for me. I hope everyone stays safe and well!
