January 12th 2020 Update

I almost wrote 2019 for the update, whoops. Still, I caught it in time, so let’s get down to business, shall we?

Tomorrow Webs & Wards releases! I’m really looking forward to seeing what you think about the continuation of Joy’s story, as I certainly enjoyed it! Joy is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.

I didn’t finish editing Queen’s Move this past week. With a couple of problems cropping up, I only got halfway through the book over the week. I’m hoping to finish it this week, but… to be frank, I have time to get it done. Especially as I’m still waiting on cover art. I’m starting to get worried, if I’m being honest.

I’ve started exploring the next books in both series between editing spurts, so I think they’re going to go well, all in all, but I won’t be able to tell for sure until I dive into them fully. Progress has been made, though! I hope all of you have had a good start to the year!

  1. Thank you for reading them! While I’m sure I’d still be writing without the support I’ve gotten, I sincerely doubt I’d have put out many books.

I hope to put out many, many more books in the future. The biggest problem is corralling my muse into working on the stories that’re on the schedule!

  2. Do you mind if I use the name Army And for some ants in my book, I just wanted to ask because I was thinking about making them a dungeon critter.😂

  3. Assuming you mean Army Ants, go right ahead! They’re a real-world type of ant, so it isn’t like I have a claim on the term! I used the wikipedia article to get mine reasonably close to what they’re like in real life, though obviously different species have somewhat different habits.

My wife told me that the bit about their mandibles not letting go is accurate. Apparently some Amazonian tribes use them as emergency sutures.

  4. Yeah! Ants Canada talked a bit about them on YouTube. By the way you want some good Ant advice, watch him.😂 And yes I did mean ants but autocorrect turned it into and.
