Echoes of Chaos has been out for a week, and I’m quite happy with how it’s been doing so far! If you’ve enjoyed it, I’d deeply appreciate it if you left reviews, as it helps indies like me significantly. Especially on sites other than Amazon, since it’s my first new release on other storefronts.
I’ve also finished reviewing Embers of War, and have begun working on Forged in Conflict, which I’ll hopefully get at least halfway through this week. I do have some visitors and other complications coming up, so I expect to be interrupted, but I should be able to start on Tempered in Battle soon. I’ll admit, I’m currently tempted to re-title the first book to something to do with a crucible instead, and just keep Embers of War as the series title instead. We’ll see, though.
And since the question has come up a couple of times, my project immediately after finishing book 3 (and setting them up for release) will be a return to Talyn’s Saga. I’m currently planning on a several-year timeskip for the series to get Talyn up to the level I’d like for the next plot arc. How many years is up for debate, I need to do math and figure out how long it’d take for her to the point I want her at. Then there’re a number of other questions, like what new abilities she’d have picked up, what events in the period are memorable for her, and things of that nature. But that’s for after I write Tempered in Battle.
But that’s all for this week. Have a wonderful week, everyone!
