The first pass of editing on Born of Chaos is complete! I expect to finish the next pass by February 16th, at which point I’ll be sending the manuscript to my editor. I’ll be putting up a pre-order sometime this week.
That said, I do have one conundrum, and I’m leaning toward making the change. Other than the perspectives thing I linked this past week. After reviewing the book, I’m inclined to take the suggestion of a friend and retitle the book as Echoes of Chaos, as it feels far more fitting for the content. It might be a minor thing, but I need to make a decision before putting up the pre-order.
Beyond that, there isn’t much to say. I’ll be relaxing and looking at my next project this week. Cheers, everyone!

Yes Echoes of Chaos is more intriguing name, are the echos coming from Evelyn?

To keep my reply vague enough to avoid spoilers, I think it works because each part of the book has something to do either with Evelyn’s past, or past decisions. Part 2 is the weakest in that regard, but it isn’t like I set out with the goal in mind.

Well, it isn’t like Evelyn sets out to cause/encourage/encounter chaos. Based upon your reply to the previous poster, Echoes of Chaos does seem to be a more appropriate title. Either way, I’ll anxiously await the preorder.

It will be, yeah. I might release it a bit earlier via my webstore, but a lot of the delay is ensuring the book is available on all the storefronts, plus me making sure I have plenty of time to finish the editing.
