Thanksgiving is over, I’ve visited family, and generally got very little writing done due to the interruptions. Circle of Ashes has been doing… okay, I suppose. I think it’s just barely paid off its production costs at this point, assuming Amazon’s estimates are close to accurate.
Moving on to Born of Chaos, I did get a little writing done, and am up to approximately 68,500 words. I didn’t get quite as much done as I’d hoped, but I’m not surprised when I had to pick up a story from a while back, plus the upcoming holiday. I’ll be trying to get a full week of writing this time around, but we’ll see how it goes. I’m also debating on whether the changes I’m implementing are enough.
I’m really reluctant to completely eliminate the storyline I wrote initially which was an insufficient ending to the book, so I may put it in but not end it after that section. There are a lot of balls in the air where that’s concerned, but if I do, that’s another ~37,000 words I can add. Assuming the current part ends at ~75,000 words and I keep it in its entirety, that’ll give me a total a bit over 110,000 words, with room for another segment without making the book too ridiculously large.
Anyway, that’s where things are sitting at the moment. I’ll keep you informed, have a wonderful week!
If the book is a little large, add $1 to the price, your fans will still buy and read it.

Admittedly, with inflation being what it is, the income I’m receiving isn’t going as far as it used to. I’m reluctant to raise prices, but I may not have much of a choice.

As unfortunate as it is (for all the reasons), it’s also completely understandable
