  1. I pre-ordered and just downloaded it! Can’t wait to listen but have to finish Lilith’s Shadow omnibus Volume 1 first… I’ve been hooked on your material and working my way through everything… Lol

How do you have time to write so much? When you first started, did you have time to write or dedicate time for writing? Did you have a job outside of writing? Do you have a plan mapped out for your stories or do you just wing it?

Very curious and sorry if you have already answered these questions somewhere else.

I’m still a very new fan of your work and aspiring writer with my daughter. She and I are working on a couple stories just for us and maybe the world at some point. 😆

Thank you for your time and your amazing story telling!!

  2. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my books! I hope you enjoy this one when you get to it. ^_^

As for your questions, let’s take them in order. And yes, I’ve answered them before, but I’m not concerned about it.
    – I honestly only write about four hours of a day. I can’t handle much more than that before I’m exhausted. It’s my only job, so it means I have plenty of time for it.
    – I spent a lot of time on writing when I first started to prepare for publication, yes, but it’s a little more complex than that. I’ve been writing since ~2001 or so, on and off, and have dozens of partial stories. Born a Queen was the first story I completed, though it was in a very different state, and required incredibly heavy editing to get into a state I was willing to publish it. Though Ancient Ruins was the first I published.
    – So… I had a job at about the time, yes, but it was a disaster if there ever was one. I had a seasonal Halloween job, and the manager was… not good. I’d been steadily getting more frustrated over the course of the month, and had just written the prologue of Ancient Ruins a few days before (October 20th or so). It was Saturday, and I didn’t have my schedule for the following week, not even that Sunday, so I just quit, went home, and entered a rage-induced writing spree. I ended up writing ~97,000 words in 30 days, which I eventually published.
    – I mostly just wing my stories. I usually have an idea where the stories will end, but not always. There’re usually a couple of scenes I really want to see in the story, and I try to connect them together logically, though sometimes the characters refuse to cooperate. That usually ends up with a better story, though.

I hope that helps, and good luck with both of your writing!
