Another change of plans, and this time not for the better.
I sent the manuscript of Bloom of Chaos off to my beta readers, and the overall reaction was that it was okay. Not great, not terrible, but low-energy compared to most of the Evelyn books. Unfortunately, ‘okay’ isn’t good enough for Evelyn, so I’m going to be taking drastic measures.
Which is to say, I’m going back to the drawing board for about two-thirds of the book. However, this comes with some complications, since I’m not in a mental space to redo all of it, and I have contractual obligations for a different series. So, essentially consider Bloom of Chaos canceled for the next eight months. I’m going to work on Talyn’s Saga to clear my head, finish the last Through the Fire novel (the contractual obligation), then revisit it. Hopefully this will allow me to do Evelyn justice, rather than giving you a merely ‘okay’ book.
Anyway, that’s what’s going on. I’m really sorry to tell you this, but it is what it is. I’m just having to bite the bullet and accept it.

I love all your books. I’d love it if Lilith could visit Evelyn and be shown her harems, which might inspire her to start her own.

Honestly, if it were up to Lilith, she might go with that. However, the issue is everyone else who’s involved. I’m not sure it’s possible to balance everyone else, since not all of them get along.

I think the scenario would work better if Evelyn visited Lilith world instead. After all it wouldn’t be the first time a deity asked Evelyn for help and there are plenty involved with Lilith’s World.

Considering I don’t write cross-universe stories, it’s unlikely to happen. Evelyn isn’t in the same multiverse, after all.

I’d really prefer Evelyn not to add ‘Authorslayer’ next to her ‘Godslayer’ title. I’ll look forward to more books in the Through the Fire and Talyn series.
