First off, I want to inform you that starting next week, I’m going to shift the day I do my updates. I’ve been doing updates on my Newsletter and Patreon on Mondays, but since I started with Sundays originally on the website, I’ve been sticking with that until now. No more! Now all the updates will come out at the same time! Assuming I remember, anyway.

On to other news. Temple of the Sun is up to ~75,000 words, and I’m happy with how it’s going! Unlike the first book, there haven’t been any intense fights. Yet. Rue needs time to recover after the previous book, plus there are dates to address.

Also, I’m currently looking at my schedule, and I’m considering which book to write next. I almost have two books complete of a new trilogy, at least in rough draft form (I know I’ve mentioned Embers of War a few times, another fantasy story), and I’m thinking about making the third book my next ‘main’ series, so I can write it, then edit and publish all three in relatively rapid succession. It’d still probably be over the course of a few months. It’s that, or I go back to Eve of Destruction. I’ll consider further. I’ll definitely have time, because… another trip is on the horizon!

One of the things I’ve wanted to do for ages is to visit Europe. In this case, my wife decided we should visit Ireland, so I’ll be going to Dublin in October! We’re going toward the beginning of the month, and I’m nervous, since it’ll be my first true international trip. I’m planning on seeing the sights, and doing research! I’ve already got a list of things to see. I wasn’t expecting the trip, but I’m not arguing either.
