So! Talyn: Repose has done decently this first week. Not amazing, but I’m not going to begrudge decent results. Based on what I’ve seen, for the most part people have liked it, to my relief! It turned out very different than I expected.
This week is the audiobook release of Seed of Chaos as well! I’m excited to see what people think of it, as well as the insanity involved in the book. Syndy exists, after all, and Evelyn has… issues.
Temple of the Sun is up to approximately 27,500 words, and coming along nicely. A date has occurred in the book, which turned out well. I think. Maybe. We’ll see what all of you think… anyway, it’s coming along well, and I’m excited to see where it goes!
That’s all for this week!
the book felt weird to read as in it was actually great but i think for people looking for more romantic progress it kind on just flopped forward however the rest was fine the politics were great and so was the leaders reaction to the guardians id give the novel a 8/10 and literally only because of the ending where we got progress but it was a tease. I hope this doesn’t end up offensive etc but yeah mean well by my comments

No offense taken! Personally, the romance progression with other characters near the start was also important, but that’s a different subject. Lots of characters, and everyone has different tastes.
A huge problem on my front was that I really didn’t want to skip Abydon being dealt with, but that Talyn couldn’t really be involved in it directly. I also wanted to handle some other aspects, and for things to progress a lot, the characters need to level. I think I have things properly set for a solid timeskip shortly after the start of the next volume to let her level a fair amount, but… we’ll see how that goes.
