Regarding Temple of the Sun, I got a partial week of writing in, and it’s up to ~15,000 words, which is a bit over 1/7 the length of Obelisk of Blood. Looking at my planned plot, I expect it’ll run long, since I’m not quite as far along as I expected. Some things could shift, though. The trip could progress faster than I’m thinking it will at the moment.
Nothing else to really mention, though… I hope you enjoy the book, once it’s out!

Finished it last night. What a delightful episode in the saga! I read your author’s note and I am just as surprised as you that Talyn was basically completely disconnected from the B-plot. Not that that made it bad! My favorite part was Talyn’s illusion against the floor boss – I laughed for ten minutes straight.
Can’t wait for more!

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I had thoughts on how to get her involved, but in the end, they all would’ve been forced, so I just let her be disconnected.
