Obelisk of Blood is up to ~77,500 words, and I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to finish it this coming week, so it’ll end up over 90,000 words in total. I’m still hoping for it to be close to 100,000 words, but we’ll see how that works out in the end. Once I complete the rough draft, I’ll look at scheduling it with my editor, then setting up a pre-order.

Just as a reminder for those of you who don’t know, Obelisk of Blood is book 4 of Through the Fire, and is intended to be the first book in a new trilogy for that series. I’m still planning to rotate through my currently ‘active’ series, however, namely Eve of Destruction and Talyn’s Saga, until they’re either complete or the new trilogy is done.
