Tempered in Battle is up to a little over 67,500 words, and has taken a couple of turns I didn’t expect, which just figures. I’m not sure how that’s going to play out, but I’m looking forward to finding out as I write more!
Next week will either have a pre-scheduled blog due to me being traveling, or it’ll be skipped, I haven’t decided which just yet. We’re going to a concert out of town that my wife really wanted to attend, and which we’ve been planning for months. It’s a short trip, but it’ll still interfere a bit.
As a final bit of news, here’s artwork of Pyra and Talyn, illustrated by Denny Ibnu. This was funded and voted on by my Patrons. I hope you like it!

Have fun

Great artwork, for me it looks like a crop of a bigger scene showing the enemy right?

That’s about what it’s supposed to look like, yeah! I don’t have the slightest clue what the other party (soon to be deceased) is, but Pyra is unhappy with them.

Any word on Evelyn’s audiobook?

I love the art. I genuinely can’t wait for the next book of the talyn saga

Not on when it’s coming out, no. Unfortunately, I did get word that Abby is going to have to step away from the series after the upcoming audiobook, which is… a bit depressing, really. Nothing I can do about it, though.

Oh that’s sad…she does such a good job

Agreed! It’s sad and a bit discouraging, but I don’t know what she has going on in her life. I’m sure she has her reasons.
