Crisis of Faith is now off to the editor, so it’s on-track for its release on November 4th! After editing it came to just over 107,000 words, and I’m rather happy with it. I’m working on figuring out a narrator at the moment, but I don’t have any news to share just yet. I’m hoping to get Gabriella Cavallero to narrate it, but that isn’t necessarily possible.
This week isn’t going to have much progress, just to give everyone fair warning. I’m going on a vacation, plus I’m going to be re-reading Lilith’s Shadow to prep for Queen’s Move. My editing date for it is pretty far out, so don’t be expecting it this year! We’ll see how it works out in the end, but I just want to caution everyone not to get their hopes up.
In other news, another piece of art funded by my Patrons was completed this past week! I present to you Korima, after someone forced her to sit down for a portrait. The art was created by Hoang Lap.

Monsieur Benjamin Medrano, if I may be so bold to ask, are you going to write another book about Ruethwyn? I am sure you are probably tired of that question, but she was kick as s and the same character that got me to read your other books too.

I plan to write more about Ruethwyn and company, and when I do I plan to timeskip to when she graduates. The only question is when I’ll get back to her, as at present I have more than 25 ideas for books/series that I’d like to write, excluding expansions to Lilith’s Shadow or Through the Fire. So I can’t promise it soon, but… the more attention the series gets, the more likely I am to publish more in it.

Oh, it wasn’t an interruption! I replied when I was back at the hotel, relaxing. If I’d been trying to cut myself off entirely, I wouldn’t have taken my laptop at all. ^_^
Just to add to the answer, I don’t have any specific plans for which books come next beyond Lilith’s Shadow 3-6 and the Beesong Chronicles 2 & 3. I’m likely to take a brief break in the middle of Lilith’s Shadow, maybe to do a stand-alone novel… but I try not to plan out too far in advance. Hopefully Ruethwyn will be poking me for the story by that point!

You could always do a Lilith\ Ruethwyn cross over for the stand alone novel? Would be interesting to see, and could possibly get your juices flowing for a new Ruethwyn book too? And I’ll be honest, I am surprised this isn’t a bit i am talking too. And don’t take that idea seriously about lilith and ruethwyn, I didn’t think it through entirely when I suggested that.😁

Very true. And Kitania would try and help give Ruethwyn advice on how to deal with a multiple lover relationship. I for the life of me can’t remember the name of a multi-person relationship. Oh! How do you pronounce Kitania?

I am! That’s why I was a bit confused as to why you thought I was still on it. I was out from the 9th through the 12th. I’ve had a full week writing Queen’s Move, and working on Webs & Wards on the side!

Rue is flustered by attention in general. The lifespan of a human would make her a *bit* hesitant, but I don’t feel it’d be an obstacle in the end.
